Hegelian Dialectic, PsyOps and Proxy Wars Explained
Black degradation is not an accident—it is engineered. The Hegelian Dialectic, PsyOps, and Proxy Wars have been powerful tools used to shape narratives, control populations, and weaponize trauma against Black people. Understanding these strategies is key to exposing how systemic oppression operates in plain sight.
Black Degradation as Business
Black trauma is commodified. Black death becomes a spectacle. Names like Trayvon Martin, Sandra Bland, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless others remind us that racialized violence is turned into currency. One wing of the system demonizes victims while the other exploits their pain for political and financial gain. Both serve the same master: white supremacy.
The Hegelian Dialectic at Work
The Hegelian Dialectic is the cycle of problem, reaction, solution. Chaos is created, the public reacts, and the same powers responsible step in with promises of reform. Yet these reforms are only incremental, designed to pacify rather than dismantle the system. The treadmill of “hope” keeps the status quo alive while anti-Black racism remains unchanged. PsyOps and Psychological Manipulation
Psychological operations, or PsyOps, are deliberate strategies to manipulate opinions, emotions, and behavior. Often associated with military propaganda, these techniques are also deployed domestically through media and politics. The goal is to steer populations toward compliance with agendas that ultimately harm them. The U.S. Army’s own definition of PsyOps can be found here.
Proxy Wars and Black Identity
Proxy wars don’t just happen on foreign battlefields. They are waged culturally and socially, with Black identity positioned as the proxy. The War on Drugs functioned as a proxy war against Black communities through mass incarceration. Celebrities such as R. Kelly and Bill Cosby have been turned into proxies to associate Black men with cultural toxicity, fueling negative stereotypes and justifying oppressive measures. Breaking the Cycle
None of this is coincidence. These strategies reinforce the degradation of Black people while strengthening institutional power. Real transformation will not come from the same establishment that profits from oppression. It begins with awareness, rejecting propaganda, and building solutions rooted in self-determination.
